We’re celebrating artists of various genres in an effort to support CRED Philly’s unique art programming for our city’s youth. #ArtCircle | First Friday Hang-Out | September 6th @ 7pm

One of the most important elements to build and keep healthy relations between creative & expressive people is familiarization.

That said, we support S.Frosty & Sela Hip-Hop in presenting #ArtCircle; a simple, casual, and chill hang-out session geared towards arts & culture, those actively creating in it, and those enthusiastic about it. A perfect what-to-do after you roam the street-side art affairs that comprise ‘First Friday’ in downtown Philadelphia. CRED Philly issue 5 releases in a few weeks.

Come grab a few copies of the past issues and learn more about how the amazing sub-cultures and support systems of local young folks.

An Open Call To Creative Young Philadelphia, “25 DEGREES” is a hip, eclectic series of FREE active workshops that stands as both highly entertaining but developmentally advantageous for folks aged 25-and-under.

Presented by SFX – S.Frosty Networx, CRED Philly, and The Sëla Hip Hop Collective.

This series provides young folks aged 25 & under with a platform for to express their talents, an environment conducive to professionally and psychologically beneficial peer-to-peer networking, and a team of seasoned older professionals to observe, advise, and mentor this powerful next generation. “25 DEGREES (Part II)” is bent on pulling together and serving an even larger and more skillfully diverse group of young Philadelphians than the kick-off.

▼ Feature Presentations

The primary presentations will be provided by the students of EducationWorks citywide programming, coordinated by educators Margel Overton (@theSophant of Sëla) and Joseph Brand. Other youth presentations will be provided by the students of programs at The New Freedom Theatre, coordinated by teaching artist Michael O’Bryan, and students of the CAPA high school poetry slam team, coordinated by Mj Harris (Mike King of Sëla).

DJ Reezey returns as our masterful music machinist.

There will be an Open Mic segment; singers, rappers, poets, comedians are all welcome. Young visual artists are welcome to bring in their pieces (finished or not) to share and receive peer-to-peer criticism. Young businesspersons and entrepreneurs are welcome to come and advise, mentor, and learn from a crowd of peers.
